UNIFORM
The purpose of the uniform is to distinguish “Asylum Task
Force” members from "ordinary" paintball players, to promote "friend or foe"
recognition on the paintball field and to foster team spirit and unity. Uniform
is required every team member
ASSET MANAGEMENT
The Team Officers will be responsible for managing the assets, expenses and
income of “Asylum Task Force” on paper. The team will elect an objective third
party to handle oversight of the team account. These responsibilities may be
delegated to other officers or active members as per the Team Officers
discretion.
ASSETS-- Chronographs, carbon dioxide tanks, fill stations, bunkers, scales;
other team purchases and the team fund are owned by all team
members. Upon disbanding the team, all assets are sold and those
proceeds will be divided among the current active members. As it is classified
as game day equipment, until that time the Second In Command will retain, and be
held responsible for all said equipment.
EXPENSES-- Purchases may be made from the team fund with a majority vote from active members. The
team fund can be used for tournament fees at the discretion of the Team
Captain.
INCOME-- Defined as all monies generated through
"Asylum Task Force” for any purpose deemed necessary after passages by
vote of current members.
Team officers will be based on merit and maturity and experience. Officers will not abuse their position by
giving unnecessary and/or excessive orders. Officers are responsible for
representing what is best for the team. Officers will not allow self-interest or
greed cloud their leadership judgment abilities. Officers will be marked will
identifying patches and armbands to be easily identified on the field. Also may
hold meetings separate or earlier timed meetings. Officers will be held to a
much higher standard than honorary members; officers will be behooved to attend
every monthly meeting; and every game be that local or abroad. Exemptions can be
accepted under qualifying circumstances, but will be closely monitored by the
teams other officers and chief.
PROHIBITED BEHAVIOR
Behavior such as making aggressive physical
contact with another person, or violently arguing, fighting or protesting during
team events will result in immediate loss of playing privileges and or loss of
team membership.
Under no circumstances will any member intentionally
overshoot an opponent or shoot as to injure as opponent (groin, throat, temple,
unprotected ear, ladies breast)
Cheating is not tolerated. If any
member of Asylum Task Force is expelled from an event for cheating, there will
be an immediate review of that player’s involvement with the team.
Insubordination can result in expulsion from the team. Refusal to adhere to an
officers reasonable request also will not be tolerated and can punishable by
loss of playing privileges. Repeat offenses will result in expulsion from the
team.
PROBATIONARY PERIOD
Probationary
members must complete 45 days of membership before becoming an active member.
They have the right to vote immediately.
Probationary members must
attend at least 60% of all meetings and events during there probationary
period.
Upon completion of probationary period new players must be
voted into active membership status by a majority vote of the current
officers.
Probationary members will participate in team Dues and/or
additional purchases required by the team.
Probationary members not
"voted in" will be given 3 warnings before loss of playing privileges and/or
loss of team membership, unless there was a serious violation related to these
codes of conduct that results in the probationary member being terminated. Also
any warning issued will restart the probationary period at 90 days from the date
of the infraction.
MEETINGS - All meetings are scheduled by
the team captain or co-captain. Anyone with an agenda for a team meeting needs
to have it submitted no later than 3 days before the meeting.
Team dues--- any money needed for “Asylum Task Force” is to be received
equally from all active and prospective members. Additionally all member dues
are to be adjusted on a needs assessment basis.
All team members being that probationary, honorary or officer WILL pay the required dues
to the team’s treasurer. This amount is 10.00 dollars per month. Money is due at
the monthly team meetings or games. An advance pay system is honored with
discount being as follows; six month advance dues are 50.00 dollars (10.00
dollars off). Also twelve month advance dues are 100.00 dollars (20.00 dollars
off). This money will be placed in a secure account and the only way purchases
will be made, is through an officer voting process. Money will be used for
anything relating to the team benefit as a whole not one individual member.
Failure to pay monthly dues will be dealt with abruptly. If any member at any
time refuses to pay monthly dues of 10.00 dollars they will be automatically
discharged. Members failing to pay dues will have a three month grace period to
repay the dues. If any member falls over three months behind on paying dues they
will be administratively discharged with an offer of return in the future;
reasons for this strict policy is ensure the equality of each team member, and
ensure financial well being and stability for themselves. If a member feels that
the monthly dues is placing themselves in a financial strain, then the member
can take a voluntary hardship leave of absence lasting no longer than six
months. If a member goes into hardship leave then he/she will not be allowed to
attend team meetings, nor represent the team in any way, shape, form or fashion.
Dues will not be refundable under any circumstance!
Communication on/off field
---On field communication will be through verbal and
visual commands. Member must take initiative to learn visual hand signals and
learn the phonetic alphabet before they attend any game. For verbal signals we
will be using 2-way radios, these radios will not be provided and you are
encouraged to acquire your own for use on the field. For off field
communication, members are expected to have a reliable means of contact,
preferably a cellular device and email with all hours of availability
